Senior Product Manager, Product Lead, 3D Home
Product Lead for 3D Home, an experience for home shoppers to virtually tour a house before visiting in person. We do this through empowering real estate professionals with an app that allows them to capture 3D Homes quickly, easily, and for free (Learn more).
I was responsible for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for 3D Home, as well as its place in the greater Zillow Group portfolio. I worked across a team of 20+ engineers and computer vision researchers, in coordination with design, research, marketing, operations, and company leaders.
Drove from a pre-alpha tech demo to a product with multi-city availability, defining and refining the target customer, product offering, user journey, and market positioning.
Achieved an increase of 177% in creator adoption and 363% in WAU within 6 months of launch.
Led Go-to-Market and Customer Engagement. Created Alpha and Beta programs of 20+ users to build customer understanding, kick-start adoption, and instill a data-driven approach to decision making.
Grew team to create a mature product organization by implementing agile best practices and bringing together engineering, research, design, marketing, and operations to build the product.
Grew my PM team to include a junior PM and a Customer Operations Manager, both who transitioned from non-traditional PM roles.
Defined and refined the supply-side creator experience as well as the consumer-side interaction and integration, including syndication across Zillow properties and externally to Broker sites.
Product backlog owner across three engineering teams, spanning iOS app development, Full-stack (AWS, React), and Computer Vision research.
Coordinated across teams and organizations to implement 3D Home as a core part of the Zillow Group platform, including back-end databases, AWS services, iOS/Android apps, and Web systems.

Drove the developer experience, showcase apps, and overall product strategy for Cognitive Services, a collection of 12+ Artificial Intelligence APIs, that spanned 3 internal organizations and more than fifteen teams across the U.S., China, Europe, and Brazil.

Built the developer story from the ground up, starting from website demos to explain the tech, to standardized sample code and SDKs in GitHub for easy integration and consolidated support on StackOverflow and Uservoice. Direct manager of community outreach contractor.
Led full redesign of Microsoft.com/Cognitive in < 2 months, increasing conversion rate by 10%. As part of the redesign, introduced a CMS to improve workflow and an A/B testing framework to inform future work.
Worked closely across marketing, branding, PR, and legal to build the Cognitive Services brand and messaging framework. Public spokesperson for Microsoft Research and Cognitive Services, both for tech conference presentations and press interviews.
Product Lead for showcase A.I. apps, to show the world what can be built with our easy-to-use APIs. I rapidly shipped new experiences, such as TwinsOrNot.net and MyMoustache.net, which have been played over 3.5 million times, and Mimicker Alarm for Android, downloaded by 200,000+ users. I then collaborated with Azure, Bing, and the Developer Evangelist organizations to scale the showcase app effort.

Led Auto-Enhance, Edit, Import features within the Photos app for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
E2E owner of Windows 10 Auto-Enhance, working across Windows, OneDrive, and Microsoft Research to develop automatic photo analysis and editing algorithms, a non-destructive editing file system, and a streamlined user experience that makes every photo beautiful.
Developed measurement system to increase performance and accuracy of 7+ editing algorithms; included decreasing red-eye error below 1% and decreasing ‘autofix’ time by 90%.
Led the merger with Nokia editing teams to share editing technology, algorithms, and experiences.
